78% of Chronic Diseases Are Diagnosed Too Late. We're Changing That.
Corpus AI detects risks before symptoms. So people get help before it's too late.
Imagine a world where chronic diseases are detected years before symptoms appear—saving lives, improving quality of life, and drastically cutting healthcare costs. At Corpus, we're making that future a reality.
Why?
We believe healthcare should prevent disease before it happens, not just treat it after it’s too late.
Today, 78% of chronic diseases are diagnosed only after irreversible organ damage, costing lives and driving healthcare costs up by as much as 8–10 times.
Our mission is to transform healthcare from reactive treatment to proactive prevention—saving lives, improving quality of life, and reducing costs worldwide.
How
Corpus AI uses advanced machine learning to predict the risk of chronic diseases up to 3 years before symptoms appear. We securely analyze patient data—EHR, claims, or lab results—to identify early warning signs and provide healthcare teams with actionable, personalized recommendations.
What
Corpus AI is a predictive analytics platform for:
Insurers
Reduce claim costs by detecting disease early
Healthcare providers
Deliver proactive, life-saving interventions
Governments
Improve population health outcomes
How It Works
Proven Impact
- Heart attack risk detected up to 12 months early
- Diabetes risk identified years before complications
- Cost savings from $6,800/year in late-stage care to $850/year in prevention
Late Diagnosis is Costly—In Lives and Dollars
Chronic diseases cause over 40 million deaths every year, largely due to delayed detection. In fact, 78% of chronic illnesses are only identified after severe complications arise—leading to organ damage and treatment costs that skyrocket 8 to 10 times.
The Global Economic Impact
- $4.2 trillion USD annual healthcare costs globally
- 8x higher treatment costs vs prevention
- Limited access to preventive care worldwide
- Overwhelmed healthcare systems globally
- Our AI can detect ANY chronic disease early, not just diabetes and hypertension
The Patient Problem
Late Diagnosis = Organ Damage
- • 78% of chronic disease patients are diagnosed when organ damage has already occurred.
- • 65% of cases detected only after serious complications develop.
Chronic Disease Complications
Chronic diseases account for 40M+ deaths per year
Hypertension (Example)
- 1.28 billion adults worldwide have hypertension
- 52% are unaware of their condition
- Prevention cost: $850 USD/patient vs $6,800 USD treatment
Diabetes (Example)
- 422 million adults worldwide have diabetes
- 45% are undiagnosed until complications arise
- Cost per patient with complications: $8,500 USD/year
Predict. Prevent. Transform.

I am a Colombian palliative care physician and public health researcher with a strong focus on equity in serious illness care. My work spans clinical, academic, and policy domains, with particular attention to underserved populations. My research explores how social determinants shape access to care, symptom burden, and health equity. I currently serve as a research fellow at the Latin American Observatory of Palliative Care, an honorary researcher at University College London, and project manager of the RAPHAEL EU feasibility study, which aims to improve care for patients with heart failure and their caregivers. I am also pursuing a PhD at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona.
